Purchasing paintings - information for buyers.

If you have decided to purchase a painting please contact me and we can arrange payment and shipping details

If you have seen a painting on this web site that you are interested in, please contact me by email , I'm happy to give you a price for shipping anywhere in the world. If the painting is in my studio, or if you want to commission a piece, I will deal directly with you - if the painting you are looking at is with a gallery, I will forward your inquiry to them..
Payments for paintings purchased through me can be made either directly to my account or through Pay
pal.
I'm always more than happy to spread payments for a painting out over three months or so and then send the work to you. If this helps you to secure the piece that you love, we can make it happen!

Use of my images

I'm open to the use of my images for charitable organisations, schools, etc. The only things I ask in exchange for this is a donation - be as generous as you like (remember, I am an artist with two children!) just email me for my paypal details and I'd ask you to fill in a basic contract stating that the image is for a one off event and will not be used for anything else. This would also state that my name and website be included somewhere near the image. This is a trust situation. Thanks for your understanding.

Paintings for investment.

Above all, the best piece of advice I could give with regards to investing in art would be - buy to enjoy! Buy because you have seen a piece of art that you know you can't live without. To me, that's what makes art an investment!

As far as financial investment goes, buying paintings is certainly an enjoyable alternative to stocks and bonds for people wanting more than just a return on their investments. Like any investment, there is no guarantee that you will make huge profits overnight.  For the wise art buyer who carefully follows the career path of their chosen artist, there is plenty of scope for good financial return on art as a long term investment.

Why not commission a painting if you have seen one on this site but:

It’s been sold/reserved
If you have seen a contemporary painting on this site that has already been reserved or sold let me know. We can then discuss that painting and its qualities and work on those elements to create an original based on them, I cannot, and more importantly will not repeat an exact copy of a past painting as each one is sold as an original.

It doesn't fit in with your colour scheme
If you have seen a painting that you like the style of, but, the colour is wrong for the room in which you want to hang it, let me know. We can then discuss the possibilities of the colours you would like together with the style of your choice.

The size is not right
any thing is possible!

If you would like to discuss any of the above in relation to a commission
